Role Description

This is a remote role for a Social Media Manager who will build and manage our social media presence across platforms to connect with job seekers and career professionals. You’ll create engaging content that showcases our product’s value and builds a community around career success and job search optimization.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing social media strategies, creating compelling content, managing community engagement, and maintaining consistent brand voice across all platforms. This role involves working closely with marketing, product, and design teams to amplify our mission and connect with our target audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing and community management
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with strong visual and storytelling abilities
  • Experience with brand management and voice consistency
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Understanding of the job search and career development landscape
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
  • Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics)
  • Understanding of content scheduling and automation platforms
  • Experience with video editing software for social media content
  • Familiarity with influencer outreach and partnership management
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Understanding of SEO principles for social media content
  • Experience with community management platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of social listening and monitoring tools
  • Understanding of hashtag research and trending topic analysis
